In this game you control a hungry Baryonyx who needs to catch fish for his lunch. It has simple controls so young kids will be able to have a go, but it's tricky enough to hold the attention of older kids.
We love the fact that Baryonyx stars in this game. Baryonyx is one of the British dinosaurs and it really does eat fish. So marks for scientific accuracy, young dinosaur experts will like that!

We really love this dinosaur game! In Dino Soars you control a cute yellow pterodactyl as she flies around to collect all of her lost eggs and return them to the nest. It's a classic arcade game with platforms to land on and baddies to avoid including a T-Rex.
With some practice my four year old could have a go at this, but children a little older will love it. My 2 year old enjoyed watching me play, and both kids shouted advice.

Welcome to the Dinosaur Games for Kids Blog
I have two dino mad young boys who love dinosaur games. I'll be sharing our finds on this blog.
I'll be focussing on dinosaur games for preschoolers and young children. There are load of great fun and educational games out there, but they can be hard to find.
We'll be avoiding games aimed at older children and teens. The game here will be suitable for little kids - though obviously check the game first if you have any doubts that it will be age appropriate for your children.
We'll be hunting for free online dinosaur games and also PC and Console games that make great gifts for aspiring paleontologists.
